LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries represents an exciting option for safe, high-energy, and lightweight energy storage.
Genasun, RaceCell and other battery systems provided by Bruce provide superior cycle life @ 2000-3000 cycles at 80% DOD (Depth of Discharge) at a fraction of the weight of lead, gel, or AGM. LiFePO4 has no risk of the "thermal runaway" associated with earlier lithium (Li-Co, etc.) systems.
